Since 2015, Grant Thornton has been promoting a day dedicated to Corporate Social Responsibility globally, in which each member firm has the opportunity to make a concrete difference for their community. An important day to contribute to the social and human growth of the communities to which we belong and a tangible sign of the social commitment that distinguishes our organization.

Our commitment, however, does not stop at one single day, but continues throughout the year with various initiatives.

This year, colleagues from Milan, together with those from Padua, participated in specific workshops with elderly people with disabilities and Alzheimer's disease. Alongside them were the young people from 'La Meridiana', a Social Cooperative that has been operating in the Monza area for 48 years in support of vulnerable groups within the community, creating cutting-edge facilities and services, the result of research and experimentation.

Colleagues from Rome took care of cleaning and painting the spaces and conducted artistic workshops together with young people suffering from severe psychiatric conditions in collaboration with 'Progetto Itaca Roma'. The Association has launched a psychiatric rehabilitation service with a non-medical day structure, run in the form of a club, where Members/Users work in an organized way under the guidance of non-medical specialized staff."
