The first joint APM to be held in Trento
28 May 2019Grant Thornton Annual Partners’ Meeting will be held this year in Trento, from 29 May to 1st June, concurrently with the 14th edition of the Festival of Economics.
“New Skin” will be the theme of the 2019 Annual Partners’ Meeting: for the first time this year, actually, all partners of the two Italian member firms of Grant Thornton International Ltd will meet jointly to discuss common strategic priorities and growth objectives. Grant Thornton Global CEO, Peter Bodin, will also take part in the event.
Many are the topics that will be discussed and the activities on the agenda. Among the most relevant themes is the integration of the two brands, Bernoni Grant Thornton and Ria Grant Thornton, into a single brand “Grant Thornton” which will be used to trade the entire service offering of the two member firms thus providing an integrated consultancy approach. A “new skin” which will make Grant Thornton operations in Italy even more homogeneous.
The Annual Partners’ Meeting will be held concurrently with the 14th edition of the Festival of Economics in Trento (30 May – 2 June), sponsored by Grant Thornton for the third year in a row. Speakers, economists, entrepreneurs, historians and scholars of various disciplines will discuss this year theme “Globalization, nationalism and representation”, providing different perspectives on the complex European cultural scene, focusing on the changes in economic policy and on the uncertainties on the future of the European Union.
Peter Bodin will take part as a speaker in the round table “Multinational companies and local development”, scheduled for 31 May at 12.00 p.m. (Sala Depero, Palazzo della Provincia): a unique opportunity to reflect on major changes taking place both in the global and domestic scenario.
