Experience

Alessandro joined Bernoni Grant Thornton in 1996. Partner since 1999, now he is Managing Partner and Head of Tax of the firm.

He has extensive experience in various areas, among which:

tax and legal advisory to private clients
M&A
reorganisations
succession planning

Alessandro regularly speaks at courses and seminars and publishes articles on specialised newspapers. He co-authored the volume on international tax "Manuale di fiscalità internazionale".

He acts as Statutory Auditor in several joint-stock companies, some of which have a listed foreign parent company.

Alessandro is actively committed to supporting Not for Profit organizations, contributing to projects that generate a positive impact in the community.

Education

Alessandro received his Degree in Business Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. During his mandatory call-up, Alessandro held office at the R&D Department of the Italian Revenue Police.

Now available in bookshops and online the VII edition of “Manuale di fiscalità internazionale” (International tax manual - IPSOA Wolters Kluwer, 2016), which sees Alessandro Dragonetti among the editors. It is a comprehensive volume that includes the most recent tax novelties. The tax manual deals indeed with all the basic topics of international taxation but this new edition is enriched with a full chapter dedicated to BEPS, an overview of relevant EU Court of Justice judgements as well as analysis on residence and double taxation.
