Bernoni Grant Thornton assisted M.Torres Diseños Industriales with the acquisition of Universal Tissue Technology
The Spanish international group M.Torres Diseños Industriales S.A., operating in the development of innovative and automation solutions for industrial processes, acquired from Global Capital Universal Limited 100% of Universal Tissue Technology S.r.l. capital, a company specialized in the manufacturing of machines and plants for the production of paper, with office in Lucca.
The acquired company will change its name to MTorres Tissue: it will become a new brand and broaden the group’s production in the tissue segment. The company will carry out research & development and production activities, using equipment mainly for the transformation of toilet paper, blotting paper, paper jumbo rolls for industrial application, towels, and similar products.
The operation involved, as concerns legal assistance, Bernoni Grant Thornton and Quorum Legal. The team of Bernoni Grant Thornton assisting the company was made up of Carmen Presmanes Zatarin, Principal, and Andrea Piccolini. Quorum Legal team assisting Global Capital Universal Limited includes Francesco Fiore, partner, and Emanuela Hernandez.
